my wife works at a clinic in a strip mall beside a kingdom hall, she worked there about 8 months, well apparently the clinic she works for rents (donates) parking spaces from the kingdom hall (and its a huge hall, wow, probaly used to be a church) on a monthly basis, and so do many other businesses in the strip mall (dental clinic, optometrist, etc,) the mall is always full.

i don't mean to nit-pick on the witnesses, but does anyone else find this odd, i wonder if they pay tax on that money or claim it as donations, why would you rent space to business that go against bible principles.

I don't mean to nit-pick on the Witnesses, but does anyone else find this odd, I wonder if they pay tax on that money or claim it as donations, why would you rent space to business that go against bible principles. What if the business was an abortion clinic ? or a business that's shady. Or just making money off the property, wasn't Jesus furious over people using the church as a market to sell things.

Any thoughts on this, ever happen at your Kingdom Hall, do you think there is anything wrong with this, or it's no big deal.

i am trying to figure this one out.

okay i can understand that 1914 comes from some crazy equation so it can be argued that it was fixed in the bible.

those arent figured using any calculation or interpretatons of the bible are they?

Really I think this creates a problem if they say they are not inspired. Where did this number come from? Where in the bible?

I don't think you will find one person on the planet who says it was inspired, the number (1935) simply made up to fix the problem of TOO MANY annoited class people during those years, absolutely nowhere in the bible, and i asked my brother this, show me anywhere in the NWT or ANY bible on the planet where God pointed to 1935 and heavens doors being closed. He couldn't. Any current or former elders out there what to take a shot at this, how would you answer this question from a publisher.

1935. I love this one, I asked my elder brother, how this came to be, show me one inspired writing to abck it up.

his answer :

Well, there was a special talk at Cedar point Ohio(1935), in which Rutherford, stated, that not all had a heavenly hop, but an earthly hope. (Seems there were about 144,001 annoited ones in 1935 and this was causing problems). So he showed them that most would have an earthly hope and not a heavenly hope.

So Rutherford made something up just to fix the problem, the funny thing is, this is the only belief Witnesses believe from Rutherford, strange isn't it.

what would it take for you to break up a relationship with someone you really love?

would it be physical abuse, refusing to go out and work, abuse of child, or whatever else?

it took one night, 15 years gone in maybe 6 hours, I still haven't left (10 months later), but I know it's over, I can't forgive her and her family, I've tried, did all I could do, I am glad I tried, because I know in my heart I gave it all I could, I wasn't perfect, I made mistakes, I neglected her at times, BUT, she still should not of did what she did (slept with someone, with no sleeping), and her family covered it up and laughed about it, that really hurt more in a way. But I plan on exiting soon, before Labor day weekend, as I piece things together, do the lawyer thing, and get my things in order. Advice to all and listen, DON'T EVER THINK IT'S OK TO GO OUTSIDE THE RELATIONSHIP, NO MATTER HOW BAD IT IS !!!! end it first, then screw anyone you want, just my thoughts.
